It’s that time of year again…. it’s the Nordstrom Anniversary sale! If you’re not familiar, Nordstrom has a sale every year in July to celebrate their anniversary of being in business. This sale is unlike most, in the fact that new season merchandise is on sale for a limited time. That means you’re getting on-trend items on sale to stock your wardrobe for the upcoming fall and winter seasons. Nordstrom cardholders get priority access to shop first depending on their Nordstrom Club ranking (the more you spend per year, the better your ranking.) You can still sign up for the Nordstrom Credit Card during the sale – which will also earn you $60 in Nordstrom notes. Here’s a breakdown below of who can shop when:
When Can I Shop the Sale?
- Icons: July 12th
- Ambassadors: July 14th
- Influencers: July 16th
- Everyone Else: July 28th
The sale ends for EVERYBODY on August 8th, and after that prices go back to normal. This is a great time to grab some pieces for your fall wardrobe, or even get a head start on Christmas shopping!
My Advice for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale:
Don’t get overwhelmed! Everyone can preview what is on sale on nordstrom.com now. Create an account on the site, that way you can add your favorite items to your wish list and easily add to cart from there, once you’re allowed to shop. Also, don’t get discouraged if you’re favorite items become out of stock. People go CRAZY at the beginning of the sale and buy things in multiple sizes and end up returning things that don’t work. The inventory levels are constantly fluctuating. You can even turn on back-in-stock notifications on the Nordstrom site, so you don’t miss a thing.
